Taylor Swift: The Winner of CMA Awards 2009

The 2009 CMA Awards show made a history where the 19-year-old Taylor Swift became the youngest artist ever to win the Entertainer Of The Year award. She took the torch from 1999′s Shania Twain, and toppling the reign of the formidable Kenny Chesney. She also won Female Vocalist, Album of the Year, and Video of the Year. Taylor Swift said, “I’ll never forget this moment because in this moment, everything I ever wanted has just happened to me.”
The awards giving ceremony was held live from Sommet Center in Nashville on November 11, 2009. Martina McBride and George performed on “I Was Country When Country Wasn’t Cool” as a tribute to Barbara Mandrell who is announced as a Hall of Famer this year.
